این اثر بر پایه یک نگاه دقیق و آگاهانه به فرم و رنگ شکل گرفته و به جای روایت مستقیم بر کیفیت دیدن و حضور متمرکز است انار نه به عنوان نماد آشنا بلکه به عنوان یک حجم زنده و فشرده تصویر شده جایی که وزن رنگ قرمز در تعادل کامل با سبزهای پیرامون قرار میگیرد و هیچ رنگی بر دیگری غلبه نمیکند. کنترل دقیق نور باعث شده سطح میوه حالتی لمس پذیر پیدا کند و بافت نقاشی بدون اغراق در جزئیات حس مادی خود را حفظ کند برگها با حرکت نرم و هدایت شده قاب بصری را میسازند و نگاه را به سوی مرکز اثر هدایت میکنند بدون آنکه حس تصنع یا تزیینی ایجاد شود. پس زمینه محو و تنفسی فضایی آرام برای فرم اصلی فراهم کرده و فاصله سنجیده میان وضوح و ابهام کیفیتی معاصر به تصویر داده است این کار بر قدرت سکون تکیه دارد و نشان میدهد هنرمند به جای تأکید بر شلوغی یا نماد پردازی مستقیم به جوهر دیداری سوژه وفادار مانده است. اثر از نظر ترکیب بندی متعادل از نظر رنگ سنجیده و از نظر اجرا دقیق است و به خوبی نشان میدهد که نگاه نقاش به سادگی ظاهری محدود نمیشود بلکه بر درک عمیق از حضور و ارزش فرم استوار است .
