طراح با درک عمیق از حجم و فرم، توانسته است با استفاده از طیف گسترده‌ای از تیرگی‌ها و روشنی‌ها  به چهره‌ها حالت سه‌بعدی و واقعی ببخشد. نحوه اجرای سایه‌پردازی‌ها بسیار ظریف و کنترل شده است و اجازه می‌دهد تا نور، نقاط کلیدی مانند برجستگی‌های گونه و درخشش چشم‌ها را به زیبایی لمس کند
